I had never looked at Zillow - I never thought I would move out of Ann Arbor - loved my little house that was an amalgamation of 3 businesses over 35 years. As needed, it allowed itself to be reworked and accommodated what each business needed. But, one Friday night, I thought I would cruise Zillow just to see what all the fuss was about. Very quickly, I came upon this amazing little house which caught my eye in a big way...
Woodsy, out there a bit, lots of possibilities. . . the inside was kind of my dream house - lots of wood - cedar at that, big open windows, wow. Well, the ad said call this agent anytime, so it was only 8:30 on a Friday night, hey, why not?? I said I wanted to go see it asap. Do people do that??
A few days later, I saw it in person. ..
What was there not to love????
I went back 2 or 3 times, once even brought a shovel and dug a few spots to see what the clay situation was - NONE - really nice dirt for growing. Found out later that it was on an old horse pasture. Well ok - here we go . . .
